Couple arrested after four-year-old girl under their care dies from abuse
A husband and wife were arrested yesterday after a four-year-old girl under their care died on Sunday.
South Klang police chief Assistant Commissioner Shamsul Amar Ramli said around 1.20pm on Sunday, the police received a call about a four-year-old girl who died at her babysitter’s house in Jalan Yadi, Klang, and the death was confirmed by the medical personnel that were despatched to the house. – New Straits Times
Model agent charged in 'pretty' party case
The agent of a model who alleges she was sexually assaulted while working at a house party in Nonthaburi's Bang Bua Thong district has been charged in connection with the case.
The model, whose professional name is Nong Dear, had earlier told police she was sent by her agent, Krittiya Ritmangkon, 24, to entertain guests at the house on the night of Sept 16. She said she fell unconscious and woke up the next morning naked. – Bangkok Post
Makeshift centre helps drug addicts kick habit in Shan
The roofed enclosure was the size of two 40-foot steel cargo containers patched together with galvanised iron sheets and wood. The wooden door was locked with an iron chain.
