Why we strike again

For more than a year, children and young people from around the world have been striking for the climate. We launched a movement that defied all expectations, with millions of people lending their voices – and their bodies – to the cause. China’s tourists are more sophisticated today

As the world’s most travelled nation, China is reshaping global tourism. An industry that generates 10 percent of the world’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP), and provides around one in 10 jobs worldwide. As the millennium started with 10 million trips being taken by Chinese outside the mainland, last year the figure was shy of 150 million, including visitors bound for Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau.

Are travel management companies losing out?

A recent report by The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) revealed that worldwide corporate travel is worth an estimated US$1.4 trillion. Nationalism after the fall of the Berlin Wall

The fall of the Berlin Wall on the night of 8 November, 1989 dramatically and suddenly accelerated the collapse of communism in Europe. Digital Transformation And China’s Businesses

China’s digital transformation is touted by many economists and trade experts as the single largest contributor to the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth between now and 2025. That explains why most companies in China are transitioning from traditional ways of doing business to more efficient digitised business models. This transition is precipitating many changes, most notable of them all being the adoption of a customer-centric management style.
